First off, it's important to realize that biographies submitted to Racing Years are public documents, created by users who wish to participate. This means once you've submitted a biography, it becomes part of the public database and you cannot remove or withdraw it. We list the usernames of all contributors to a biography at the top of the page.
It is important that you read the Terms of service for information regarding copyright/ownership of any material you submit to Racing Years and our guidelines in our FAQ page
Please make sure you understand and agree to all of the above if you want to start contributing biographies to the database.

We are against plagiarism and it is not acceptable to take biographies or descriptions from other sources and copy them to our database. The only way is when it is your own creation or available under Creative Commons, but we would like you paraphrase the text that it differs from the original source.
